Photo Assignment: My Rochester-Portraits
These portraits I have taken are of my mother. these photos tell you about the personality of my wonderful mother. She is the woman who raised me to be the person i am today and we act the same way, these photos can tell you that right away. She is goofy, beautiful and crazy all at the same time and that is why i love her so much. Without her, I do not know where I would be in life. she is the apple of my eye and I was happy to take these pictures of her because I got to capture her personality in a project that I am doing for school because it is a way that i get to show off how amazing of a mom she is. She made it really easy to take these pictures too because she sat real still until i was able to get the camera focused and ready for the picture. I made sure the lighting and the background was all good before i took the picture.175 The lighting and the background was perfect because it was one solid color so it did not create unwanted shadows so you can see my mom perfectly. it was important to do that because she was wearing a black shirt and it would have looked bad if the shirt blended in with the background. I had trouble keeping my hands steady because my mom had a big case on her phone, it was heavy and made it hard to keep it steady when i tapped the button to take the picture.

Birds Eye View: You can see the whole ground below you and it tends to look cool
Worms Eye View: You can see the whole sky from the lowest point, also looks cool
Close Up: Usually of a person, a zoomed in face for a portrait
Wide shot: shows you a wider picture so you can see more
extreme close up: used to show a specific part of something, or express emotion
Long shot: a picture from far away of something, usually dramatic
Medium Shot: used in movies when people are talking. shows upper body
